Star actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde on december first 2016 was unveiled as the brand ambassador for the Nigeria Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association (NLPGA).
For the comference Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde spoke about the benefits and importance of educating millions of Nigerian women and families on the health hazards thats comes with the use of firewood and even kerosene in preparing meals.
She says “We must now reach out to more women and indeed families on the need to embrace the use of liquefied gas, which is cleaner, healthier, safer and even more cost effective”.
The president of NLPGA, Dayo Adeshina said “Omotola is a great addition to the fight for renewable energy and total conversion to liquefied petroleum gas in Nigeria”.
The star actress would be working with WINLPG (Women in LPG) as they introduce other women into the LPG world.
The conference was a success and some of the attendies included captains of oil and gas industry, executives etc among the speakers at the event was chairperson board of directors of First Bank Niigeria Ibukun Awosika, CEO Banner Energy, Nuhu Yakubu, Vice President of Techno Oil, Nkechi Obi, member of the World LPG Association, Allison Abott and Cabana Group UK director, Nikky Brown.
