Today we re celebrating a young woman who is definitely coming up and she is non other than radio girl and tv personality Maria Okanrende popularly referred to as Maria Okan. Maria Okanrende is the co host for “Morning Rush” on the beat 99.9 fm so she is one of the voices that you hear on your drive to work.
Before her permanency of sorts with the beat fm, maria shuttled between presenting jobs and so far she has worked with dropout UK, BBC and MTV. She has also had the opportunity of interviewing so many stars which include Mary j Blige, Jesse J, Chimamanda Adiche, Wizkid, 2Face and a host of others, not so recently AKA from South Africa.
Aside’s from her roles on radio, she also has a Vlog which she calls Maria Matters and she appeared in season 3 of the popular MTV series Shuga so you can say Maria is also an upcoming actress.
