Lagos is standing still as the All Africa Music Awards 2016 is taking place at the EKO hotel and suite convention center in Victoria Island. The host for the show is drawn from three different African countries, South Africa (Bonang Matheba), Morocco (Ahmed Soultan) and Congo (Ika Jang). The All Africa Music Awards AFRIMA is designed to recognize, review and give awards to those who have given African music creative edge and has impacted the global market within the year. There are over 154 nominees that campaigned for votes from the public for the various categories of award
